Renowned filmmaker Sekhar Kammula has successfully completed 25 glorious years in the film industry. To mark this significant milestone, Sekhar Kammula met with Megastar Chiranjeevi, who launched the special commemorative poster titled ‘25 Years of Sekhar Kammula – Celebrating the Soul of Storytelling’ and extended his heartfelt congratulations.

Sharing this memorable moment on social media, Sekhar Kammula wrote a heartfelt note reflecting on his journey:

“As a teenager, I once saw Chiranjeevi garu up close and felt a deep desire — ‘I want to make a film with him.’ That was it.
Now, it’s been 25 years since I entered the industry. When my team said, ‘Let’s celebrate,’ the first person that came to my mind was Chiranjeevi garu.
He is a personality who has inspired multiple generations. It was he who gave us the belief — ‘Chase your dreams, and success will eventually follow you.’
So, for me, celebrating my 25-year journey wouldn’t feel complete without his presence.
Thank you, sir. Not just in this moment, but since my teenage years, you’ve always stood in front of me as a source of inspiration.”

Alongside his touching words, Kammula also shared photographs with Chiranjeevi, which are now going viral across social media platforms.

Sekhar Kammula has delivered several cult classics over the years, including Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, Leader, Fidaa, and Love Story. Each of these films left a lasting impact on audiences and earned him a special place in Indian cinema.

Currently, he is gearing up for the release of his pan-India film ‘Kubera’, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna in lead roles. The film is set to hit screens worldwide on June 20, in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
