Janhvi Kapoor’s First Look from ‘RC 16’ Unveiled on Her 28th Birthday

Actress Janhvi Kapoor received a special birthday surprise as filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana unveiled her first look from the highly anticipated Ram Charan-starrer RC 16. Celebrating her 28th birthday on Thursday, Janhvi was introduced to fans in a rustic avatar—dressed in a loose-fitting T-shirt, cradling a lamb in her arms.

Sharing the first-look poster on social media, Buchi Babu Sana expressed his excitement, writing, “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday, #JanhviKapoor! Loved working with you, and I can’t wait for everyone to witness your terrific character on screen 🔥 #RC16.”

A Promising Tollywood Journey

RC 16 marks Janhvi’s second Telugu film after Devara (2024), where she stars alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas, and Sukumar Writings, with Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman composing the music.

Busy Schedule Ahead

Beyond RC 16, Janhvi is currently filming Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy directed by Shashank Khaitan, in which she stars opposite Varun Dhawan. Marking the occasion, Varun also wished her on Instagram, sharing a still from the movie with the caption, “Happy birthday, Tulsi. Love, Sunny.” The image captures the duo locked in an intense gaze, hinting at their on-screen chemistry.

Adding to her packed slate, Janhvi recently wrapped up Param Sundari, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film is set to hit theaters in July this year.
