Salman Khan Announces High-Octane Action Film With Sanjay Dutt
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has confirmed that he will be teaming up with Sanjay Dutt for an intense action-packed film. The duo, who previously shared screen space in classics like Saajan (1991) and Chal Mere Bhai (2001), is set to reunite for a project that promises “next-level rustic action.”
During a media interaction in Mumbai on March 27, Salman revealed, “After Sikandar, I am doing another big film with my elder brother in the industry, Sanjay Dutt. It will feature some next-level, raw action.” However, he added that the director for the project is yet to be finalized.
Meanwhile, his much-anticipated collaboration with Tamil filmmaker Atlee has been put on hold. “That project is delayed because of budget constraints. He (Atlee) has written a grand film that requires a huge budget,” Salman explained.
Apart from this action thriller, there have been speculations that Salman and Sanjay Dutt might also be making cameo appearances in an upcoming American thriller, which is being filmed in the Middle East.
Before diving into this new venture, Salman is gearing up for the release of Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. Set to hit theaters on March 30, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr, the film features Rashmika Mandanna and Tamil actor Sathyaraj in key roles. Speaking about the film, Salman described it as a story with a strong moral core. “The central theme is simple: a noble man remains noble no matter where he is,” he said.
Having cemented his status as an action hero with films like Tiger 3 and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman has also co-produced Sikandar. Addressing ticket pricing, he stated that the film would follow standard industry rates, unlike his 2014 release Jai Ho, where lower ticket prices didn’t yield the desired results. “We had priced tickets at 200 rupees for Jai Ho, but it didn’t work out as expected. For Sikandar, the pricing will be as per usual norms,” he confirmed.
With Salman and Sanjay Dutt coming together once again, fans can expect an electrifying cinematic experience filled with action, nostalgia, and brotherhood.
