Sri Venkateswara Creations, a banner known for delivering consistent box office hits, is gearing up to launch its next big project—Thammudu, starring youth icon Nithiin in the lead and helmed by acclaimed director Sriram Venu of Vakeel Saab and MCA fame. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, the film is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on July 4, 2025.

The official release date was revealed today in a light-hearted and creatively made announcement video, coinciding with director Sriram Venu’s birthday. The clip features actresses Swasika Vijayan, Varsha Bollamma, Sapthami Gowda, Laya, and child actor Baby Sriram Deetya visiting the director—not just to wish him on his special day, but to cheekily press him for updates on the film’s release and promotional plans.

Adding to the humor, senior actress Laya, who is making a much-anticipated return to Telugu cinema, jokingly complains about her poster not being released yet. As Sriram Venu tries to dodge their playful interrogation, the video concludes with Dil Raju and Shirish joining him for a birthday cake-cutting, during which they make the official release date announcement.
