Thailand’s Opal Suchata Wins Miss World 2025 in Grand Hyderabad Finale

In a glittering event held in Hyderabad, Telangana, Thailand’s Opal Suchata was crowned Miss World 2025, marking a moment of pride and celebration for her country. The 72nd edition of the iconic beauty pageant concluded with an unforgettable night filled with glamour, elegance, and inspiration.

The crown was passed on by Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic, who held the Miss World title for the previous year. Opal’s victory comes after a journey of hard work, poise, and purpose, earning her the highest honor in the global competition.

For the finale, Opal wore a mesmerizing gown crafted in a soft white palette, embellished with opalescent floral details. The design was more than just fashion—it symbolized a personal and collective journey of resilience, compassion, and transformation. According to Opal, the outfit paid homage to the strength of women who find light in the darkest moments and continue to move forward with grace.

While Thailand celebrates a momentous win, India’s representative Nandini Gupta, who had shown promise throughout the early rounds, unfortunately did not advance to the Top 8. Nandini had earlier secured a place in the Top 40 and was among the select contestants who fast-tracked into this group through stellar performances. However, she couldn’t progress further as the competition intensified.

This edition of Miss World 2025 marked a historic occasion for India, as the country played host to the event for a consecutive year. After the success of the previous year’s ceremony in Mumbai, Hyderabad took center stage this time, with the event drawing attention from audiences across the globe.
