Global Star Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Gears Up with Massive Night Action Sequence Shoot

The much-awaited pan-India project Peddi, starring Global Star Ram Charan, is progressing at a rapid pace. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already created massive buzz nationwide with its first glimpse. With a powerful collaboration and a stellar team, Peddi aims to redefine cinematic benchmarks in Indian cinema.
Presented by renowned pan-India production houses Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, and produced on a grand scale under the prestigious banner Vridhi Cinemas by visionary Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is shaping up to be a landmark film.
Currently, the film’s team is shooting a massive night action sequence, one of the major highlights of the movie. Star cinematographer R. Rathnavelu recently shared a powerful behind-the-scenes moment from the sets, revealing that an intense and high-voltage night action block is being filmed with Ram Charan.
The still shared by Rathnavelu features Ram Charan in an intense, beast mode avatar — a look that has gone viral on social media and further amped up excitement among fans. This action sequence is expected to be a major high point in the film.
The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma playing pivotal roles.
Technically, the film is stacked with some of the best in the business. R. Rathnavelu is handling cinematography, while Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is scoring the music. National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli is onboard as the editor, and production design is being led by Avinash Kolla.
Peddi is set for a global theatrical release on March 27, 2026, marking a grand birthday celebration for Ram Charan with what promises to be a cinematic spectacle of epic proportions.
