“ENE Repeat” Officially Announced: Tharun Bhascker, Vishwak Sen & Team Reunite for Cult Sequel

After years of fan speculation and mounting anticipation, the cult classic Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is officially getting a sequel — and it’s called ENE Repeat. This long-awaited follow-up is being helmed once again by writer-director Tharun Bhascker, with production by D. Suresh Babu, Srujan Yarabolu, and Sandeep Nagireddy under the banners of Suresh Productions and S Originals.

The original film struck a deep chord with audiences, particularly the youth, for its laid-back humor, relatable characters, and friendship-driven narrative. Over time, it has grown into a beloved cult hit, especially after its highly successful re-release. With the same core creative team and cast returning, ENE Repeat is poised to rekindle that nostalgic magic while taking things to a whole new level.

The iconic gang — Vishwak Sen, Sai Sushanth Reddy, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu — is back, promising more laughs, drama, and chaos. Their reunion sets the stage for a quirky and high-spirited adventure that fans have long been waiting for.

The film’s title reveal itself is a clever teaser — the title ENE Repeat is playfully designed, blending Telugu characters with a mirrored twist to reflect the film’s unconventional and witty tone. The tagline “Elinaati Shani Ayyipoyindhi, Kanyaraasi Time Ochindi” hints at a fun rollercoaster of events and perhaps even a new lease of luck for the lovable protagonists.

The announcement poster takes the quirk up a notch, with a briefcase exploding mid-air — clothes, beer bottles, sunglasses, and a flight ticket all suspended above Earth, suggesting a sky-high misadventure packed with surprises and hilarity.

On the technical front, the team that brought life to the original is largely intact: Vivek Sagar returns to score the music, AJ Aaron will handle cinematography, and Raviteja Girijala will take charge of editing. Sowmithri N joins the crew as executive producer, as pre-production gains momentum.

With the madness set to unfold again, ENE Repeat promises to be not just a sequel, but an amplified celebration of friendship, fun, and filmmaking at its quirkiest best. Fans, get ready to relive the vibe — this ride is about to take off.
