Dhanush and Nithya Menen’s Idli Kottu Trailer Promises an Emotional Journey
After delivering a blockbuster with Kubera, National Award-winning superstar Dhanush is back with his next ambitious project, Idli Kottu. The film, where Dhanush not only plays the lead role but also directs, is produced by Aakash Bhaskaran under the Dan Pictures and Wunderbar Films banners.

A Heart-Touching Story
The trailer opens with a simple yet moving scene—Murali (played by Dhanush) convincing his father that buying an idli grinder would save time and ease the family’s work. Murali shares a deep emotional bond with the traditional idli stall owned by his father, which is not just a business but a sentimental symbol for the entire community.
Later, Murali pursues a career in hotel management and joins hands with Ashwin (played by Arun Vijay). While Murali helps grow the business, Ashwin’s threats soon endanger not only Murali’s future but also his father’s legacy. The film revolves around Murali’s struggles, challenges, and his fight to protect his family’s honour.
