Power Star Pawan Kalyan has created history with his latest blockbuster OG, directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Entertainment under the banner of DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari. Released on September 25, 2025, the film opened to special premieres on September 24th night across Telugu states and instantly set the box office on fire.
With fans raving about Pawan Kalyan’s never-seen-before avatar, Thaman’s thunderous music, and the spectacular visuals by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, OG quickly turned into a blockbuster phenomenon. Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan said:
“First of all, my heartfelt greetings to media, fans, and well-wishers who made OG such a grand success. This film is very special—it is rare for a movie to become not only a box office hit but also a festival of celebration. I am grateful to Sujeeth for this story, to Thaman for giving life to it, to Ravi K Chandran, and to my co-stars Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, and Shriya Reddy.
The truth is, I didn’t even know the full story when Sujeeth first narrated it. All he said was—‘You’ll hold a sword in Japanese attire, with guns… you’re a gangster.’ It was my son Akira Nandan, after reading Sujeeth’s notes, who convinced me this was a story for today’s generation. That’s when I realized its strength.
This film reminded me of my early days. Thaman’s music took me back to Thammudu, while Arjun Das’s voice amazed me. Most importantly, OG has given me the strength to do films again. With the support I’ve received, I now want to continue this journey and expand the OG Universe.”

“I never thought I’d direct a film for Pawan Kalyan garu. Thanks to Trivikram garu and Danayya garu, this project happened. During a shoot in Mumbai, I asked Pawan sir if we could do another part if the film worked. His answer is what sparked the birth of the OG Universe.”
