Prabhas Hails Maruthi’s Writing at The Raja Saab Pre-Release Event, Calls Film a Complete Sankranti Entertainer

The grand pre-release event of The Raja Saab was held in Hyderabad, turning into a massive celebration as fans gathered in huge numbers to witness their beloved Prabhas. The film, directed by Maruthi, is positioned as a large-scale horror-comedy entertainer, set to release worldwide on January 9 as a special Sankranti attraction.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, The Raja Saab stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads and promises high production values with mass appeal.

Several cast and crew members spoke at the event, sharing memorable experiences and praising the film’s scale and content.

Actor Mahesh Achanta expressed gratitude to director Maruthi and Prabhas, calling it a special moment to be part of his first 2026 release. He highlighted the unmatched fan following of Prabhas, noting how roads were flooded with fans for the event.

Lyricist Kasarla Shyam revealed his excitement about penning his first song for Prabhas, teasing audiences with a surprise song that will release soon.

Veteran actress Zarina Wahab described her experience as deeply emotional, calling Prabhas one of the kindest individuals she has worked with in her four-decade career. She mentioned sharing several scenes with him and said she felt truly supported by the entire team.

Actor Rohith, who comes from Bollywood, said he had never witnessed such massive fan gatherings before and felt that acting in The Raja Saab would be a major boost for his career.

Actor Saptagiri confidently predicted blockbuster success for the film, praising Prabhas’ vintage and romantic avatar and stating that audiences would see him in a refreshing, humorous light after many years.

North distributor Anil Thadani conveyed his happiness at seeing the overwhelming fan support and called Prabhas a brother, wishing the film grand success.

Actor VTV Ganesh shared that working with Prabhas for 55 days was an unforgettable experience and credited his own career growth to opportunities given by senior filmmakers.

Creative producer SKN recalled the film’s journey since 2021, highlighting Prabhas’ unwavering faith in Maruthi during challenging times and praising the actor’s generosity and humility. He compared the film’s Sankranti release to a festival celebration, calling it a “mass entertainer worth betting on.”

Heroine Riddhi Kumar described The Raja Saab as a perfect entertainer, stating that audiences would love Prabhas even more after watching the film.

Heroine Malavika Mohanan said she felt honoured to enter Telugu cinema with such a prestigious project. She praised Maruthi for giving her a role filled with romance, comedy, drama, and action, and described Prabhas as a star with a genuinely good heart.
