“The Raja Saab Is Winning Hearts Everywhere” – Team Celebrates Massive Blockbuster Success in Hyderabad

The grand King-Size Blockbuster Celebrations of The Raja Saab were held in Hyderabad, as the team came together to celebrate the film’s sensational box-office performance. Starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi, the horror-fantasy entertainer has opened to thunderous response worldwide, especially during the festive Sankranthi window.
Produced on a lavish scale by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film has struck a strong chord with family audiences and children, translating into impressive collections across markets.
Cast Shares Their Joy
Riddhi Kumar expressed her happiness over the overwhelming audience love, stating that the team’s nearly three-year-long effort is now paying off. She mentioned that social media has been flooded with appreciation and positive feedback, making the success even more special for the team.
Nidhhi Agerwal highlighted the film’s blockbuster opening and called it an ideal family entertainer for the festive season. She noted that sequences like the crocodile episode and the climax are receiving loud applause in theatres, with fans enthusiastically chanting “Darling Darling.”
Malavika Mohanan shared that her character Bhairavi has been warmly received, particularly the action portions. She thanked director Maruthi for giving her a powerful role and appreciated the producers for backing the film with such a grand vision. Acting alongside Prabhas, she said, was a long-cherished dream.
Box Office Numbers & Updates
Producer T. G. Vishwa Prasad revealed that while the team initially expected around ₹100 crore worldwide on Day 1, the film exceeded expectations by collecting ₹112 crore globally on its opening day. He added that final figures are still being compiled.
He also announced an important update for fans: four minutes of Prabhas’ old-getup scenes, which could not be included earlier due to technical reasons, have now been added to all shows. Despite mixed reactions from a few sections, he stated that the film is running strongly and is expected to sustain momentum throughout Sankranthi.
Director Maruthi on the Journey
Director Maruthi said that working with Prabhas is an experience he will always treasure. Though he usually completes films within a year, he spent nearly three years shaping The Raja Saab. He shared that audience feedback played a key role in refining the film further.
Based on responses, the team has now added Prabhas’ vintage getup scenes and an eight-minute rooftop fight sequence, while trimming portions that felt lengthy. From evening shows onward, he said, audiences will witness what he called the “real Raja Saab.”
Maruthi also revealed that several industry friends, including top stars, personally congratulated him on the film’s success.
A Festive Winner
With strong collections, positive word of mouth among families, and continuous updates enhancing the theatrical experience, The Raja Saab has firmly established itself as a Sankranthi blockbuster, delivering fantasy, emotion, and entertainment on a grand scale.
