Shruti Haasan Joins Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Aakasamlo Oka Tara’; A Striking New Chapter Unveiled

The much-anticipated pan-India drama Aakasamlo Oka Tara, headlined by Dulquer Salmaan, continues to build strong momentum with every update. Directed by Pavan Sadineni, the film is presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema, and produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam. With its intriguing promos already creating curiosity, the project is shaping up as a content-rich cinematic experience.
Adding fresh excitement to the journey, the makers have officially introduced Shruti Haasan in a pivotal role. Marking her birthday, the team unveiled her intense first look, which immediately grabbed attention. Shruti appears in a raw, stripped-down avatar—wearing glasses, lost in thought, with a cigarette and curling smoke adding layers of mystery. The image suggests a character driven by inner conflict and emotional complexity rather than surface-level drama.

According to sources close to the project, Shruti Haasan’s role is expected to play a crucial turning point in the narrative, pushing the story into a deeper and more compelling space. Her presence brings added gravitas to the film, making her character a strong force within the emotional fabric of the story.
The film also marks an important step for newcomer Satvika Veeravalli, who plays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan. On the technical front, GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, Sujith Sarang is handling cinematography, and Shwetha Sabu Cyril is in charge of production design—ensuring high production values throughout.
With shooting nearing completion, Aakasamlo Oka Tara is gearing up for a pan-India theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam during Summer 2026.
