Renowned playback singer Asha Bhosle, one of the most iconic voices in Indian music history, has reportedly passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai. The news was confirmed by Maharashtra Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar, who addressed the media outside the hospital.
According to family sources, the veteran singer had been admitted to a private hospital a day earlier after experiencing chest-related complications and fatigue. Her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle had shared an update regarding her health on social media. Her final rites are scheduled to take place tomorrow at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
