Allu Aravind Breaks Silence on ‘Game Changer’ Controversy: Sets the Record Straight

Allu Aravind, renowned producer and father of Allu Arjun, recently addressed the controversy surrounding his remarks on Ram Charan’s Game Changer. The veteran filmmaker found himself at the center of social media backlash after fans of the Mega family accused him of taking a subtle dig at the film’s underwhelming box office performance.

During a press conference in Hyderabad, Allu Aravind clarified that his comments, made at the Thandel pre-release event, were never intended to criticize Ram Charan or his film. Speaking candidly, he explained that his statement to producer Dil Raju was merely an observation about the unpredictable nature of the film industry, where success and failure can come in quick succession.

“That day, when I addressed Dil Raju, I only meant that he saw both loss and gain within a week. I was trolled heavily for it,” Aravind stated, acknowledging the online criticism but maintaining that there was no hidden agenda behind his words.

Reaffirming his close bond with Ram Charan, he urged fans to move on from the controversy. “He is like my son. I am his only mavayya, and he is my only menalludu. Our relationship is strong, and I now realize I shouldn’t have brought up the topic at all,” he admitted.

For those unfamiliar with the issue, it all started when Allu Aravind humorously pointed out at the Thandel event that Dil Raju had witnessed both a hit and a miss in a short span. Some fans misinterpreted his gestures as a reference to Game Changer‘s disappointing box office results, leading to a wave of trolling.

Now, with Aravind personally addressing the matter and emphasizing his unwavering support for Ram Charan, the controversy seems to have been put to rest.
