Anushka Shetty Unleashes Her Fierce Side in Ghaati, Releasing on September 5

The wait is over for fans of intense action dramas—Anushka Shetty is back on the big screen in a fearless, never-before-seen avatar with the upcoming Pan-India film Ghaati, which is officially set for a theatrical release on September 5.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainment, with UV Creations presenting, Ghaati promises a gritty, emotional, and hard-hitting cinematic experience. Vikram Prabhu joins Anushka as the male lead in this raw tale of survival and rebellion.

The newly released trailer introduces us to the harsh world of the Ghaatis, a forgotten community once forced by the British Empire to construct roads in the dangerous terrain of the Ghats. In modern times, their reality is even darker—caught in the grip of a drug trafficking network, smuggling contraband through the same mountains they once built upon.

Anushka Shetty delivers a transformational performance, playing a woman who goes from victim to criminal and ultimately emerges as a symbol of resistance. Her role is wild, unflinching, and deeply empowering. Vikram Prabhu, in a rugged and intense portrayal, supports her as a committed partner in both love and revolution. The film also features strong performances by Chaitanya Rao, Ravindran Vijay, and Jalapathy Babu in key roles.

Ghaati is visually gripping, thanks to cinematographer Manojh Reddy Katasani, who captures the haunting beauty of the Ghats with stunning realism. Nagavelli Vidya Sagar’s high-voltage background score elevates the intensity, while Sai Madhav Burra’s sharp dialogues add emotional weight.

The film’s production design by Thota Tharrani gives it an earthy and authentic texture, and the action sequences, designed by Ram Krishan, are raw and impactful. Editors Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N. Swamy keep the narrative tight and engaging.

With powerful storytelling, compelling performances, and high production standards, Ghaati is gearing up to make a mark as a Pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on September 5.

Get ready to witness the rise of rebellionGhaati is not just a film, it’s a movement.
