The highly anticipated Mohanlal starrer Vrusshabha has launched its first musical offering with the release of the soulful track “Appa”, marking an emotional start to the film’s promotional campaign. Positioned as the core emotional theme of the movie, the song captures the profound and timeless bond shared between a father and son, a relationship that forms the heart of Vrusshabha.

A Universal Emotion Captured Through Music

Composed by Sam CS, Appa features stirring vocals rendered by Vijai Prakash in the Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu versions, while Madhu Balakrishnan lends his voice for the Malayalam rendition. The lyrics are penned by

  • Vinayak Shashikumar (Malayalam),
  • Kalyan Chakravarthy Tripuraneni (Telugu),
  • Kartik Kush (Hindi), and
  • Nagarjun Sharma (Kannada),

each writer adding a distinct cultural flavor while retaining the song’s shared emotional warmth.

Released under T-Series, Appa sets the tone for the film’s journey toward its worldwide Christmas release on December 25, 2025. Directed by Nanda Kishore, the film is positioned as one of the biggest cinematic events of the year, with the song projected online as the soul of Vrusshabha.
