Big Behind-the-Scenes Change for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ Creates Buzz

Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming action-packed film They Call Him OG is back on track with filming, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. Directed by Sujeeth, the movie has generated massive hype since its announcement — and now, there’s a major development behind the scenes that’s adding to the excitement.
Initially, celebrated cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran was handling the visual aesthetics for OG. However, the latest update reveals that acclaimed DOP Manoj Paramahamsa, known for his stunning work in films like Ye Maya Chesave, Race Gurram, and Leo, has now stepped into the role.
Interestingly, Manoj is also associated with another Pawan Kalyan film — Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Meanwhile, Ravi K. Chandran is reportedly engaged with Parasakthi, a project starring Sivakarthikeyan, though there hasn’t been any formal confirmation from the production team regarding this shift.
OG stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, and marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who plays the main antagonist. The film also features a powerhouse ensemble including Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, Prakash Raj, and Shaam, all playing crucial roles.
Music for the film is being composed by Thaman S, and the project is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainment banner. With the shooting schedule picking up pace, the makers are targeting a September 2025 theatrical release.
With the change in cinematography and renewed momentum, OG is shaping up to be a thrilling cinematic experience. Stay tuned for more updates as the gangster drama unfolds.
