Boyapati Sreenu Celebrates Birthday in Georgia While Prepping for Akhanda 2: Thandavam with Balakrishna

Celebrated director Boyapati Sreenu, known for delivering mass blockbusters, is currently on a mission to take his next project to grand new heights. As he turns a year older, the director is busy scouting stunning and unexplored locations across Georgia for the highly awaited Akhanda 2: Thandavam, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead.

Marking their fourth collaboration, this spiritual-action saga is a sequel to the mega-hit Akhanda. The upcoming installment promises to intensify the cinematic scale with its potent blend of divine power, emotional drama, and explosive action sequences. Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the film is presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri.

Currently in the location recce phase, Boyapati is carefully choosing breathtaking settings in Georgia that will serve as key backdrops for some of the film’s most crucial sequences. Despite the celebratory occasion of his birthday, the director remains fully immersed in his creative vision—a true reflection of his passion and dedication to filmmaking.

Akhanda 2: Thandavam features Samyuktha as the female lead, while talented actor Aadhi Pinisetty joins the ensemble in a powerful, pivotal role. The production scale has been significantly elevated, with a larger budget and a top-notch technical team to match the film’s ambitious vision.

Music maestro Thaman S is scoring the soundtrack, ensuring a soul-stirring and adrenaline-pumping musical experience. The visuals are being shaped by cinematographers C Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae, with crisp editing by Tammiraju. The film’s art direction is being handled by AS Prakash, while action choreography is in the capable hands of Ram-Lakshman.

The team is aiming for a grand Pan-India release on September 25, 2025, perfectly coinciding with the Dussehra festive season—setting the stage for a box office celebration.
