Charming Star Sharwa and Blockbuster Maker Sampath Nandi Team Up for Prestigious Pan-India Film ‘Bhogi’ (Sharwa38)

Charming star Sharwanand and blockbuster director Sampath Nandi are collaborating for the first time on a grand-scale, pan-India project titled #Sharwa38, officially named ‘Bhogi’. This ambitious film is being produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan. Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, the film promises a great cinematic experience.

The title of the film was revealed through a powerful concept video called ‘First Spark’, which gave audiences a glimpse into the essence of the story.

Director Sampath Nandi narrates a tale of destiny, struggle, and transformation, which is visually represented in the announcement video. Sharwa is seen attentively listening to the story, imagining a world filled with courage and conflict. A key turning point is symbolized by the journey of a sword, leading to the title reveal – ‘Bhogi’ – which signifies new power and rebellion. The video also showcases Sharwanand stepping into a never-before-seen role.

The film’s regular shoot began today on a massive set erected in Hyderabad, with parts of the set already showcased in the concept video. The production team has spent six months building this vision, transforming around 20 acres of land into a breathtaking vintage backdrop.

The female leads in the film are Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi.

Set in a vintage 1960s North Telangana–Maharashtra region, Bhogi aims to deliver a next-level technical experience. The art direction is handled by Kiran Kumar Manne, while the names of the cinematographer, music director, and editor will be announced soon.

Bhogi will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
