Dil Raju Sets the Record Straight on IT Raids and Media Reports

Leading Telugu film producer Dil Raju recently held a press conference to address the ongoing speculation surrounding the IT raids conducted on several film production houses, including his own. He clarified the situation and refuted misleading reports circulating in the media.
Raju emphasized that IT raids are a routine part of any business and that he had undergone a similar process in 2008. He dismissed exaggerated claims of seized assets and vast sums of unaccounted cash, stating that only Rs. 20 lakhs were recovered, all with proper documentation.
He assured full cooperation with the IT department, providing all necessary financial records related to their film production, distribution, and exhibition activities. Raju also clarified that no new assets had been acquired in the past five years.
He further addressed the issue of black money in the film industry, highlighting that with the majority of ticket sales happening online, the possibility of unaccounted cash transactions is significantly reduced.
Raju also took the opportunity to clarify his mother’s health situation, explaining that she had been hospitalized for a cough and lung infection but has since fully recovered. He expressed his disappointment with the spread of misinformation and sensationalized reporting.
While acknowledging the public interest in the lives of celebrities, Raju urged the media to exercise responsibility and verify facts before publishing. He appealed for accurate and ethical reporting to avoid unnecessary speculation and harm.
