Diljit Dosanjh Records Special Track for Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1

National Award-winning actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has joined hands with filmmaker Rishab Shetty for a song in the much-awaited Kantara Chapter 1 album. This exciting collaboration has amplified the buzz surrounding the film, which is being produced on a grand scale by Hombale Films.

Diljit shared the news on Instagram along with a poster, expressing deep admiration for Rishab Shetty’s work. He wrote, “Salute to big brother Rishab Shetty for creating a masterpiece like Kantara. I feel a personal bond with this film. Watching the ‘Varaha Roopam’ song in theaters made me cry with happiness. Special thanks to B. Ajaneesh Loknath—I learned so much from him in just one day.”

This collaboration has raised expectations for Kantara Chapter 1, which promises to be a visual and musical spectacle. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Arvind S. Kashyap, while B. Ajaneesh Loknath—who captured hearts with his soulful score in the original film—returns as the music composer.

Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner, the film is mounted on a massive scale and is gearing up for a global release on October 2, 2025. It will release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English, making it one of the most ambitious Indian releases of the year.
