Hyderabad: The inaugural edition of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards has officially unveiled its winners for the year 2024, marking a significant moment in the celebration of Telugu cinema. Organized under the aegis of the Telangana government, this prestigious event will be hosted in Hyderabad on June 14.

Helmed by Dil Raju, Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC), and Jayasudha, Chairperson of the Jury Committee, the awards aim to spotlight cinematic excellence from across the state.

Honoring a Decade of Cinema

In addition to celebrating films released in 2024, the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards will also retrospectively recognize top films from 2014 to 2023, addressing the gap left by the absence of state-supported film awards since the formation of Telangana.

Named in memory of the legendary revolutionary singer and activist Gaddar, the awards serve as a tribute to the artistic spirit of the region and aim to inspire future generations of filmmakers.

With a blend of commercial blockbusters, meaningful cinema, and diverse genres represented, the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024 is poised to become a landmark event in the Telugu film industry’s calendar.
