Acclaimed filmmaker Prasanth Varma, who scored a nationwide hit with HanuMan, has officially set the stage for its next chapter — Jai Hanuman. The film marks a significant expansion of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe and is being mounted on an ambitious scale by Mythri Movie Makers, with presentation by T-Series.
National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty takes on the powerful role of Lord Hanuman, stepping into a character rooted in devotion, strength, and divine symbolism. His casting has instantly elevated anticipation around the project.
Majestic Launch at Hanuman’s Birthplace
The film was ceremonially launched at Anjanadri Betta, Hampi, Vijayanagara, a revered site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The traditional pooja event added spiritual significance to the occasion.
Bhushan Kumar, head of T-Series, gave the inaugural clap, while Anil Thadani rolled the camera for the first shot, directed symbolically by HanuMan actor Teja Sajja. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar formally handed over the script to Prasanth Varma, marking the official commencement of the project. With pre-production already in progress, principal photography is set to begin soon.
