Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s Film: “NTRNEEL” or “Dragon”? Shooting Starts Soon, Title Remains a Mystery
The excitement surrounding Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s first collaboration is reaching fever pitch as filming is reportedly set to begin this month. Announced in 2024, the project has been the subject of much speculation, particularly regarding its title.
While the makers remain tight-lipped, rumors suggest the film could be titled “NTRNEEL” or “Dragon.” A recent report by Aakashavaani claims that shooting will commence on February 20, 2025, with Jr NTR joining the team at a later date. Official confirmation is still awaited.
The cast also remains under wraps, though there have been whispers of Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas and Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth potentially joining the project.
Regardless of its final title, the action epic, tentatively known as “NTRNEEL” or “Dragon,” is scheduled to hit theaters on January 9, 2026. Pre-production began in 2024 with a formal muhurat pooja.
In the meantime, Jr NTR is set to appear in a key role in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, further expanding his pan-Indian appeal.
