“Kishkindhapuri” First Glimpse Sends Chills — Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ Horror-Mystery to Hit Theatres This Monsoon

The curtain has finally lifted on Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ much-awaited 11th film, officially titled “Kishkindhapuri.” Backed by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner and presented by Smt. Archana, this chilling horror-mystery marks a unique departure from conventional genre fare. With Koushik Pegallapati at the helm as writer and director, and Anupama Parameswaran playing the female lead, the film promises a spine-tingling ride into the unknown.
The makers recently unveiled the first glimpse, and it’s nothing short of haunting. The teaser opens with Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran breaching the threshold of a long-abandoned house, setting in motion a series of eerie, supernatural events. Whispering voices, creaking wood, and a cryptic warning — “Some doors are not meant to be opened” — set the tone for the horrors to come. The teaser culminates in a hair-raising moment where Sreenivas’ character, eyes pale and ghostly, utters the bone-chilling words: “Aham Mrityu” (I am death).
The glimpse delivers a powerful punch, hinting at a layered narrative steeped in fear and suspense. Sreenivas’ commanding screen presence and the unsettling atmosphere have already ignited strong anticipation for what lies ahead. The film is slated for a monsoon theatrical release, perfectly timed to amplify the film’s moody and terrifying vibe.
