Mahakumbh 2025: Traffic Advisory Issued for Maghi Purnima Snan in Prayagraj

As the sacred city of Prayagraj braces for the Maghi Purnima Snan at Maha Kumbh 2025, authorities have implemented stringent traffic restrictions to ensure a seamless experience for devotees. With millions of pilgrims expected to take a holy dip in the Ganges, a No-Vehicle Zone will be enforced to prevent congestion and ensure safety.

No-Vehicle Zone & Traffic Regulations

To facilitate smooth movement and avoid gridlocks, the Prayagraj administration has declared the entire Kumbh Mela area a No-Vehicle Zone from 4:00 AM on February 11, 2025, until the safe dispersal of devotees on February 12, 2025.

No vehicles allowed in the fair zone after 4:00 AM on February 11.
Devotee vehicles to be parked at designated parking areas outside the city.
No-Vehicle Zone extends to Prayagraj city after 5:00 PM on February 11.

Kalpvasis’ vehicles will also be restricted from entering or exiting the fairgrounds.
