Manchu Manoj Unleashes a Fierce New Avatar: First Look of Pan-India Period Epic David Reddy Unveiled

Rocking Star Manchu Manoj is set to make a thunderous return to the big screen with his upcoming pan-India period action drama, David Reddy. On the occasion of Republic Day, the makers officially revealed the film’s first-look posters, instantly igniting strong buzz across film circles and among fans.

Produced by Nallagangula Venkat Reddy and Bharat Motukuri under the banners Velvet Soul Motion Pictures and True Radix, the film is directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti. Mounted on a large-scale canvas, David Reddy is set during the British colonial era and promises an intense, high-voltage action–drama narrative. Maria Ryaboshapka plays the female lead. The film is being made as a pan-India release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The newly released posters showcase Manchu Manoj in two powerful avatars titled “Ruthless” and “Brutal.” With a commanding screen presence, fierce body language, and a striking transformation, Manoj looks every bit the relentless warrior the story demands. His makeover and raw intensity strongly hint at hard-hitting action sequences and a character driven by rage, resistance, and purpose.

Set between 1897 and 1920, David Reddy revolves around a fearless warrior who rises against the atrocities of British rule, standing as a symbol of rebellion and resilience. The period setting, combined with Manoj’s aggressive new look, suggests a film rooted in historical conflict, valor, and sacrifice, presented with contemporary cinematic scale.
