Massive Buzz Ahead of Release: The Raja Saab Team Confident of Record Opening at Grand Pre-Release Press Meet

The excitement around The Raja Saab reached a peak as the makers hosted a grand pre-release press meet in Hyderabad, just days before the film’s worldwide theatrical release on January 9. Headlined by Prabhas, the film is positioned as a large-scale horror-comedy fantasy entertainer, aimed at delivering festive joy during the Sankranthi season.

Directed by Maruthi, and produced on a lavish scale by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, the film promises a blend of fantasy, humour, romance, action, and emotion, mounted with uncompromising production values.

The event saw key cast and crew members share their confidence in the project and their excitement ahead of release.

Riddhi Kumar expressed that the film transports audiences into a magical fantasy space, combining romance, thrills, and entertainment seamlessly. She highlighted the overwhelmingly positive response to the second trailer and described the shoot as a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nidhhi Agerwal called the film one of the most memorable projects of her career, noting the warm atmosphere on set and praising Prabhas’ dedication. She believes the film will add special cheer to Sankranthi celebrations.

Producer Krithi Prasad thanked the media and audiences for their continued support and shared her eagerness to see viewers experience the film in theatres from January 9.

Creative producer SKN emphasized that The Raja Saab presents Prabhas in a refreshing new avatar and spoke about the strong early response on ticketing platforms like BookMyShow. He expressed confidence that the film’s scale and vision will be widely discussed after premieres.

Music director Thaman S described the project as a “pan-world film,” stating that its background score and music were crafted to match the grandeur of the film’s fantasy universe. He added that audiences will witness Prabhas in an entertaining and energetic form rarely seen before.

Big Expectations at the Box Office

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad revealed that the film’s journey evolved from a simple horror-comedy into a massive fantasy spectacle featuring enormous sets and visuals rarely attempted in Indian cinema. He highlighted the strong buzz across Telugu states, North India, and Karnataka, adding that the film is releasing in around 4,500 screens in North India alone. With advance interest running high, the makers are expecting global Day-1 collections exceeding ₹100 crore.

Director Maruthi shared an emotional note about working on the film for nearly three years, calling the main mansion set a “second home.” He praised Thaman’s contribution and assured audiences that Prabhas will be seen exactly in the way fans have long hoped for.
