Nidhhi Agerwal on Hari Hara Veera Mallu: “It’s a Once-in-a-Lifetime Role”

With Hari Hara Veera Mallu gearing up for its grand theatrical release on July 24th, leading lady Nidhhi Agerwal sat down with the media to share her thoughts on the epic period actioner, her character, and working alongside Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

A Role with Many Shades

Speaking with enthusiasm, Nidhhi described her character Panchami as one of the most layered roles she has ever played.

“This role came as a blessing. It’s not just one emotion — it has multiple shades. Just compare the vibes of ‘Kollagottinadhiro’ and ‘Tara Tara’ — they’re poles apart, and that’s what excited me the most.”

Bringing Panchami to life was no small feat. From elaborate costumes to intricate jewellery, every element was crafted with precision.

“It would take nearly two hours every day to get ready. Full credit to the styling team — they were meticulous about every single detail.”

Working with a Legend

When the topic turned to her co-star Pawan Kalyan, Nidhhi was all praise — and visibly moved.

“Being on set with him is like experiencing something magical. His presence is powerful. Doing just one film with Pawan Kalyan Garu feels like doing a hundred others. That’s the scale of his stardom.”

More Than Just a Love Interest

Nidhhi revealed that Hari Hara Veera Mallu gave her an opportunity to stretch her skills as an actor and performer — from emotive scenes to physically demanding sequences.

“I trained in horse riding and Bharatanatyam, and also performed in fight scenes. This film challenged me in ways I never imagined — emotionally and physically.”

The First Day on Set

Reminiscing her first day of shoot, Nidhhi said it was the song Kollagottinadhiro that kicked things off.

“The grandeur of the set hit me the moment I walked in. It wasn’t just a set — it felt like I had stepped into a different era.”

A Film with Heart and Vision

According to Nidhhi, the core of Hari Hara Veera Mallu is more than just spectacle.

“The tagline ‘Sword vs Spirit’ captures the heart of the story. It’s a war of beliefs, identity, and inner strength.”

She also shared insights into how the film blends fiction with real historical timelines:

“It’s like creating fictional characters during the COVID era. Veera Mallu is our very own Indiana Jones — but with a royal Indian soul.”

Keeravani’s Musical Brilliance

No epic is complete without an epic score — and Hari Hara Veera Mallu has M.M. Keeravani at the helm.

“Keeravani Garu’s music lifts the film to a whole new level. He’s a master at crafting soundscapes for period dramas. Tara Tara and Kollagottinadhiro are my tracks, and both are very close to my heart.”

Directed by Jyothi Krishna, with music by M.M. Keeravani, and presented by A.M. Rathnam, the film is produced by A. Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions. As the final countdown to July 24th begins, all eyes are on Hari Hara Veera Mallu — and Nidhhi Agerwal’s dynamic performance is one of the many reasons it’s expected to be a theatrical spectacle.
