Prabhas–Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s High-Octane Action Spectacle SPIRIT Begins Filming; Megastar Chiranjeevi Flags Off Muhurtham

The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here—Prabhas has officially begun shooting for his much-anticipated mega project, SPIRIT. The film launched with a grand muhurat ceremony, made even more special with the presence of Megastar Chiranjeevi, who sounded the clapboard for the first shot and offered his blessings to the team.

The production has now moved into its first schedule, bringing together some of the most powerful names in Indian cinema. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for delivering back-to-back blockbusters, SPIRIT is being envisioned as a pan-world action drama with massive scale and high emotional impact. The project is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures.

Joining Prabhas is rising star Triptii Dimri, who previously impressed audiences in Vanga’s Animal. Their fresh on-screen pairing is expected to add new energy and intensity to the narrative. The film also features Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and iconic actress Kanchana in important roles.

Ahead of the shoot, the makers released a striking “Sound-Story” audio teaser for Prabhas’ birthday. Despite containing no visuals, the teaser generated a tremendous response and heightened curiosity around the film.
