Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has joined hands with filmmaker Shiva Nirvana for his landmark 77th film (#RT77), a collaboration that has instantly generated strong anticipation. Backed by the leading pan-India banner Mythri Movie Makers, the project unveiled its title and first-look poster on Ravi Teja’s birthday, setting social media abuzz.

Titled Irumudi, the name draws from a powerful spiritual symbol associated with Lord Ayyappa, representing devotion, surrender, and faith. The first look presents Ravi Teja in a striking Ayyappa devotee avatar, adorned with traditional mala attire and immersed in a vibrant procession of devotees. The visuals create a trance-like ambience, rich with cultural textures and emotional depth. A tender moment—Ravi Teja carrying a young girl—hints at a poignant father–daughter bond, adding warmth to the spiritual intensity. His beaming smile and commanding presence anchor the poster with instant recall.

Sharing his excitement, Ravi Teja noted that some stories arrive at the right moment, expressing gratitude for embarking on this journey with Shiva Nirvana and Mythri Movie Makers, and invoking the spirit of devotion with “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa.”

Director Shiva Nirvana is said to have woven a narrative that balances devotional gravitas, emotional resonance, and mass appeal. At its heart lies a deeply felt father–daughter relationship, offering Ravi Teja a never-seen-before character arc and a noticeable transformation. The screenplay promises well-defined roles that enrich the film’s emotional canvas.

The cast features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, with Baby Nakshathra portraying Ravi Teja’s daughter. Key roles are essayed by Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, and Swasika.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, Irumudi boasts a strong technical lineup: GV Prakash Kumar (Music), Vishnu Sarma (Cinematography), Sahi Suresh (Production Design), and Prawin Pudi (Editing). Shiva Nirvana has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues, with Naresh Babu P serving as script coordinator. The shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
