Sonakshi Sinha Steps into a powerful new avatar for her Telugu debut in ‘Jatadhara’

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is set to make her Telugu cinema debut with the upcoming film Jatadhara. On March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day, the filmmakers unveiled a striking first-look poster that showcases Sonakshi in an intense and commanding avatar. In the poster, she is adorned with elaborate traditional jewelry, including a golden headpiece, bangles, and rings, exuding a fierce and powerful presence.

Jatadhara is described as a high-stakes action mythology film infused with supernatural elements. The production commenced with a grand muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad on February 14, attended by notable figures from the film industry. The team is set to film in the forests of Mount Abu, where an intricate jungle set has been constructed at Maukaa Studios to bring the film’s mystical world to life.

Directed by debutant Venkat Kalyan, the film stars Sudheer Babu alongside Sonakshi Sinha. The project is produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang. Sonakshi is scheduled to commence filming on March 10, diving into this transformative role that demands depth and intensity.
