Telugu Warriors Aim for Fifth CCL Title, Akhil Akkineni Leads the Charge

The excitement is building as the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) returns for its 11th season, kicking off on February 8th in Bengaluru. Telugu Warriors, the four-time champions, are ready to defend their title and claim their fifth victory, led by their captain, Akhil Akkineni.
At a recent press meet for the launch of their new jersey, Akhil Akkineni expressed his enthusiasm and confidence. “CCL has been a part of our lives for 14 years,” he shared, “and we’re all passionate about entertaining the fans. We’ve won the championship four times, and we’re determined to make it five this year.”
Music director S.S. Thaman, who is also a key player in the Telugu Warriors team, spoke about how CCL has allowed him to fulfill his childhood dream of playing cricket. He praised Akhil’s leadership and the team’s dedication, stating, “We’ve been practicing hard for the past three months, and we’re ready to bring the cup home again.”
Sachin Joshi, the owner of Telugu Warriors, expressed his gratitude towards CCL founder Vishnu Vardhan Induri for creating this platform and thanked Venkatesh for his unwavering support. He also commended the team’s strong bond and spirit.
Other team members, including Ashwin, Raghu, Adi, and Samrat, echoed the sentiment, expressing their excitement and confidence in the team’s ability to win.

The Telugu Warriors will face Karnataka Bulldozers in their first match on February 8th in Bengaluru. They will then play three matches in Hyderabad and Surat. Fans can catch all the action live on Sony Sports Ten 3 and Hotstar OTT.
