This exciting collaboration with blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi and the renowned production house Sri Venkateswara Creations promises a delightful cinematic experience. Presented by Dil Raju and produced by Sirish, the film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads, with music by the sensational composer Bheems Ceciroleo. The film’s chart-topping songs and engaging trailer have already created a massive buzz among fans. As “Sankranthiki Vasthunnam” gears up for its release on January 14th, Victory Venkatesh shared his thoughts and experiences in a recent press meet.
A Festive Treat for Audiences
Venkatesh expressed his excitement about the film, stating, “This is another Sankranti release for me, and I’m thrilled to be back with a clean and entertaining film. It has a unique blend of genres, with a touch of crime and a fresh approach to storytelling. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey of making this film. Everything about it has been positive. Most of my films released during Sankranti have performed exceptionally well, and I’m confident that this film will follow suit.”
Energetic Promotions and a Lively Team
Venkatesh attributed the film’s energetic promotional campaign to the team’s infectious enthusiasm and the captivating music. He shared, “The music is fantastic, and I love to dance. Some of the tunes were so addictive that I couldn’t resist grooving to them. We had a vibrant team with director Anil and the two heroines. We wanted to try something new with the promotions, and I’m glad the audience enjoyed them.”
A Multifaceted Musical Experience
Venkatesh also spoke about his experience singing for the film, saying, “I was listening to one of the songs at 2 a.m., and I instinctively started dancing. The song has an incredible energy. I jokingly offered to sing it myself. My voice was in good shape that day, and the English lyrics made it even more comfortable for me (laughing).”
He also praised the song sung by Ramana Gogula, which has become a massive hit. “He sang for my film after a long gap, and I’m overjoyed with the response it has received,” Venkatesh added.
A Fresh and Engaging Narrative
When asked about what drew him to the story, Venkatesh explained, “The concept of an ex-cop navigating his relationships with his ex-girlfriend and his current wife was incredibly fresh and appealing. I knew right away that this film had the potential to be a hit. Anil and I have a successful track record, and we share a great friendship. The comedy in this film is slightly different; we tried a new, subtle approach. There are fresh scenes, and the film has shaped up beautifully. I have excellent rapport with Anil, and I’m eager to continue working with him.”
Praise for the Leading Ladies and the Music
Venkatesh commended the performances of Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh, highlighting their compelling characters. He also lauded composer Bheems Ceciroleo for his exceptional work on the film’s soundtrack. “Bheems put in a lot of effort and delivered outstanding music. He was confident that this film would be a breakthrough for him, and I believe he’s right. The first tune itself was a guaranteed hit, and it has become a massive success. That’s the power of the audience. The ‘Godari Gattu’ song has crossed 85 million views. All the songs have been incredibly well-received.”
A Hilarious and Heartwarming Journey
Venkatesh shared his amusement at the comedic elements of his character, particularly the scenes involving his ex-girlfriend. He also hinted at a surprising and entertaining climax that will leave the audience delighted.
A Collaborative Spirit and a Positive Outlook
Venkatesh emphasized his hands-on approach to filmmaking and his commitment to ensuring a positive and productive environment on set. He expressed his gratitude for his long-standing association with Dil Raju’s production house and wished them continued success.
Looking Ahead
Venkatesh shared his excitement for his upcoming projects, including “Rana Naidu 2” and collaborations with various production houses. He also expressed his desire to explore a women-centric sports drama in the future.
With its unique blend of humor, emotion, and engaging storytelling, “Sankranthiki Vasthunnam” is poised to be a Sankranti delight for audiences, offering a refreshing and entertaining cinematic experience.
