Vrusshabha Trailer Unleashed: Mohanlal Headlines a Powerful Father–Son Epic Set for a Grand December 25 Release

The theatrical trailer of Vrusshabha has been officially unveiled, raising anticipation to a new level ahead of its year-end release. The epic drama stars the legendary Mohanlal in a commanding role and is set for a grand Telugu release by the renowned Geetha Film Distributors, a banner known for backing major blockbusters.
Written and directed by Nanda Kishore, Vrusshabha unfolds as a sweeping tale of love, destiny, and vengeance, anchored by the profound and enduring bond between a father and son. The newly released trailer offers a gripping glimpse into the film’s layered narrative, blending mythic elements with intense modern-day drama.
The trailer opens with Mohanlal’s character experiencing haunting visions filled with violence, bloodshed, and war, hinting at a past that refuses to stay buried. A striking line from a doctor — “What you can’t define, the brain denies” — sets the philosophical tone. As the narrative unfolds, it is revealed that Mohanlal’s character was once a mighty king named Vijayendra Vrusshabha, whose unfinished battle transcends lifetimes. The concept of reincarnation becomes central, with enemies driven by vengeance and a son portrayed as fiercely devoted, ready to protect his father at any cost.
Spanning two timelines and two worlds, the film transitions from the grandeur of a historic kingdom to the raw intensity of the present day. Packed with high-impact action and emotional depth, the trailer promises a visually rich cinematic experience rooted in powerful storytelling.
Vrusshabha features an ensemble cast including Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Nayan Sarika, with Ajay, Garuda Ram, and Kishore appearing in key roles. The film’s technical strength is reinforced by music composer Sam CS, sound designer Resul Pookutty, and dynamic action sequences choreographed by Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, and Nikhil. Dialogues are penned by SRK, Janardhan Maharshi, and Karthik, adding further weight to the narrative.
Presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek S. Vyas Studios, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C. K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S. Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.
Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi and Kannada, Vrusshabha is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on December 25, 2025. Positioned as a large-scale epic action drama, the film aims to deliver a compelling blend of spectacle, emotion, and timeless themes, making it one of the most awaited releases of the season.
