Yash Raj Films (YRF), the powerhouse behind India’s most celebrated action franchises, has officially announced a spectacular global rollout for its upcoming film, War 2. This highly anticipated sequel will storm IMAX screens across major international markets including North America, the Middle East, the UK & Europe, Australasia, Africa, and Southeast Asia, synchronizing with its domestic release in India on August 14, 2025.

Marking 50 days to the film’s release, YRF unveiled striking new posters featuring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani. The visuals tease a high-voltage cinematic experience rooted in grand action and larger-than-life storytelling — a hallmark of the YRF Spy Universe.

War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following blockbusters like Pathaan, Tiger 3, and the original War. With Pathaan being one of the highest-grossing IMAX releases from India, expectations are sky-high for this latest chapter.

YRF’s International Distribution Vice President Nelson D’Souza emphasized the ambition behind the project, saying, “We’re pushing the envelope with War 2, crafting a film designed for an immersive global stage.
