The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have officially announced a change in the film’s global release schedule. The much-awaited action drama starring Yash will now arrive in theatres on June 4, 2026, instead of its previously planned release on March 19.
The decision was taken by the producers KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations after carefully evaluating the rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, a crucial overseas market for the film. The move follows recommendations from their international distribution partner Phars Films, considering the disruptions affecting cinema operations across several Gulf countries.
Promotional Plans Temporarily Paused
The announcement comes at a time when the team had already finalized an extensive promotional campaign. A grand trailer launch event was initially planned for March 8 in Bengaluru, with media representatives from across the country scheduled to attend.
Additionally, the film’s first single “Tabaahi” was ready for release on March 2. However, the makers have decided to temporarily hold the music video and promotional rollout until the revised timeline for the film’s release.

In an official note, the producers explained that Toxic was envisioned as a film with global reach, designed to connect with audiences across multiple regions. Due to the current uncertainty in key international territories—especially the Middle East—the team opted to delay the release to ensure the film reaches the widest audience possible.
