Young Tiger NTR Hails ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ as a “Sure-Shot Blockbuster” at Hyderabad Pre-Release Event

The pre-release celebrations of Kantara: Chapter 1 in Hyderabad turned into a massive spectacle, with Young Tiger NTR gracing the event as the Chief Guest. The film, written and directed by Rishab Shetty and backed by Hombale Films, is gearing up for a grand Dussehra release on October 2, 2025. With its theatrical trailer already sparking huge buzz across the nation, the event further fueled audience anticipation.

NTR’s Heartfelt Speech and Personal Connect

Addressing the packed stadium, NTR shared an emotional connection with the film’s theme:

“As a child, my grandmother often narrated stories about Pinjuli and Gudi Ghat. I never thought I’d see those tales come alive on the big screen, and that too with such authenticity. That’s the magic created by my brother, Rishab Shetty.”

He went on to praise Rishab’s craft, calling him a “rare filmmaker” who excels in every aspect of cinema. NTR also recalled Rishab’s warmth when he accompanied him and his mother to the Udupi Krishna Temple, noting how the filmmaker treats everyone like family.

Highlighting the effort behind the project, he added:

“This isn’t just a film; it’s Rishab’s dream. Hombale Films has given him the wings to realize it. I’m certain this movie will be a massive blockbuster in Indian cinema. I pray audiences will watch it in theaters and bless the team’s hard work.”

Rishab Shetty’s Gratitude

Responding to the love, Rishab Shetty expressed his joy over NTR’s support:

“Namaskaram Hyderabad! NTR sir is not just a superstar, he’s like a brother to me. His presence here means a lot. I humbly request the Telugu audience to shower the same love they gave Kantara on Kantara: Chapter 1. Please come to theaters on October 2nd and support us.”
